Rover Diesel

Right I have a rover 220sdi that I'm going to attempt converting to awd. I have got my self a freelander 2.0l di with a l series non intercooled engine. Has anyone ever tried this conversion before? Wat would be the best way to do this? Eg cut the floor in the rover and make a tunnel or try to mount...

Or would anyone be intersted in any parts as I will sell bits and scrap the shell if no one wants it as a hole

Selling my rover 220sdi as don't have the time to fix. It has 2 months tax and 5 months mot. I have fitted a full s/s exhaust system. Decat pipe. Cone filter. boost gauge. Tuning lead. And a toyo sport front mount intercooler. The car has done 140k but runs fine and pulls well. Starts first time eve...

Do you know if any over models over than the sdi have the same drive shafts. as I need two but can only find new ones and 2 of them cost more than the car did lol, and can't find a intercooled modle in the scrappy.

I do have to turn it right up to get a lumpy ideal but then if I give it some it will splutter like its running out of fuel so I will try changinging the fillter and see wat happens.

Cool will try it. So I should be abell to turn it all the way up with out any problems then? As have never been abell to. But then god knows how many years the fuel fillter has been on there lol

Every day drivings not really a problem mate just had enuff of waiting for dark ice to make there uprated turbo. Wat size turbo would u suggest me getting. Would a t2 off a ford fiesta rs turbo be better or would that not be big enuff to bother with.

What car would I be looking for to take the turbo off to make fit my rover 220sdi to be a upgrade to the rover 25 turbo. I have heard of people putting a subaru impreza 2000 turbo on to 306 turbos do u know if that would work on a 220sdi or would it be to big?

Hey I have a rover 220 sdi and have just fitted a tuning lead so that I can turn up the fuel. But if I turn it above 3/4 of the way the car go's like s**t of a shovel, but as soon as I go past half throttle the car juders or cuts out like I was running out of fuel. Is this normal?
