Wingy injectors

Post by nicko500s »

I have fitted sd injectors in my L series R45, would it be worth replacing these with wingy injectors, does anyone know if i would notice the power difference, I have done the mods on this site and im waiting for a proper outlet pipe and a freeflow backbox, then I will go for a remap last of all, so Im looking for all the power gains i can get without having to spend loads on engine work. do you think its worth swapping them out? are they likely to make much difference, to me even a few bhp is worth it as it all adds up :)

If you are on the standard turbo then you don't need any bigger injectors than the Di ones you have currently.

The wingy ones allow more fuel but the standard turbo can't really make use of it.
