Last letter of gearbox code should be a U if intercooled = uprated spec.
If no U at the end then it is a non intercooled gearbox

Usual failure is differential bearings often caused by low oil level from leaking driveshaft seals
Differential bearings are 6208's with plastic cages. Replace the metal caged items, or uprated M208 bearings which have more balls in them

Nice info there, but do you have a list of all the bearings that are in the PG1 gearbox and their replacements?

For an intercooled diesel box you'll need

Input shaft
3/MJ28
3/LJ28

Main shaft
3LRJA25(roller)
43/LJ25(ball)
RJ2024(35mm shaft)

Differential
6208s or for higher loads M208s

Non intercooled boxes I'm not 100% sure on.
