Anyone fitted one of these?

Has anyone fitted one off these?

I have the L-series in my freelander. I have already blanked the egr off, added a twin cone air filter, put silicone and alloy intercooler pipes on and I have the DarkIce designs decat pipe to go on.

Essentially it tricks the ecu into thinking that the pump is injecting less fuel than it actually is.

All it is in essence is a variable resistor soldered into the appropriate location.

It does work well though.

Fitted one of these, there is a nice switch blank location by the steering wheel, so I just pulled the blank out, drilled the hole and stuck the SDi switch through, found a small flat-ish nut and popped it back into the dashboard.
Here is the link to the photo of the switch installed.

Are you pleased with the performance boost :) It makes the car so much nicer to drive in my opinion.

I am, but there are other issues I need to sort on the freelander now. Still got to find this starting problem, it's going back to have the timing checked again. As the garage that did it also did car and that was out!
