does any one no if power steering reservoir get hot, boiling and the pipes are hot to,

Warm is normal. They don't get hot hot as there is a dedicated cooler fitted to keep it cool (just a bent bit of pipework infront of the radiator). The fluid does swirl around in the pot though with the engine running that is normal.
