Re: Increasing Fuelling on Intercooled Models

I have seen a mention about the 'hammer mod', but didn't actually get round to read that. Still got lots of interesting reading on here. It's certainly a good site with plenty of info. 8-)

Re: Remapping

I'll probably just stick to the bolt on mods first then and give it another service. Gave it a basic service when I first bought it last March (engine oil & filter, air filter & fuel filter) but it's due an oil change now as it's been a year, so I'm planning on doing that in the next couple ...

Re: Howdy

Yes, I've seen your motor in the hall of fame. I'd be happy to get my 400 to that state of tune. Not going to set the world alite, but it'll give a little more poke and make it a bit more fun.

Re: Increasing Fuelling on Intercooled Models

Aaah right, fair enough. I presume it's not easy to adjust it electronically? I'll probably just stick to the simple 'air' mods (decat & EGR blanking) to begin with if not.

Re: Remapping

I may well be contacting you at some point in the future so sort me out then. We'll see how funds permit as I tend to spend all my pennies on my weekend play-toy and nothing for that is ever cheap.

Remapping

Is it possible to remap the standard ECU, without using a chip mod or something like a tuning box? If so, what would be required for someone to perform a custom remap? The software used, cables required etc and where could they be purchased from?

Increasing Fuelling on Intercooled Models

Just want to clarify a couple of things really, so I can get them clear in my mind, before I start tinkering. After reading this site there appears to be discussionsabout increasing the fuelling manually. On this guide http://www.roverdiesel.co.uk/menumapping/104-sd-tuning.html it shows how to incre...

Howdy

Hello everyone. Very good site with lots of info on. My name's Chris and I currently own a 400 SDi as my daily driver. Bought it to use as a comfortable and economical every day car so I could have my fun at the weekend in my other toy, but as usual I can't leave things alone and I'm looking to tune...
