It's meant to be spot on when it had the full new kit on it. But my car was out when that was also meant to be spot on by the same garage. The cold starting problem still. It's having timing checked again at a LR specialist next week then a compression test if its not the timing.

I am, but there are other issues I need to sort on the freelander now. Still got to find this starting problem, it's going back to have the timing checked again. As the garage that did it also did car and that was out!

Fitted one of these, there is a nice switch blank location by the steering wheel, so I just pulled the blank out, drilled the hole and stuck the SDi switch through, found a small flat-ish nut and popped it back into the dashboard. Compression test
Does anyone know the best way to test the compression on the L-series?
I think this is the next on the list of sorting out the starting issue I have on my freelander.
I have foundthe size of the tool to use on the glow plugs but does anyone know what size tool is required to use the injectors?

Sorted it all out now. Unfortunatley the car was 'just out of warranty sir' and it has also 'just passed the good will warranty period' as well! Funny that once they had found out that it needed a new turbo!! Oh and I also havn't been loyal to the Seat brand as I have had 2 services else where, but ...
