I have a slight leak from a gearbox and need to change the seals so at the same time I will put some new oil inside. As MTF 94 is not available here, not even from a Honda dealer a friend who worked as a rover mechanic suggested these: ESSO Gear oil 75W/80W SHELL SF5288 75w/80w TOTAL Transmission BV...

Finally changed the belts 2 weeks ago and now I am little bit puzzled. The car starts and runs much better 8-) althoug when I was removing the old belts the timing was spot on? I have simpy followed the procedure from the RAVE and didn't do anything else, what was wrong before? Also when doing this ...

Gearbox changed today the car flies again
Couldn't believe the difference when the new gearbox was fitted
It feels much quicker and much smoother, I am rediscovering this car again
