ok, fitted the mg zs servo yesterday and everything works as it should & it was more comfortable to do with the drivers seat removed, there is more pedal travel than i would like but not as bas as with the std master cylinder and servo & no doubt you could possibly adjust this by tinkering w...

Yes I spent over £120 trying different bulbs in all my cars, ring plus 120s and others with big claims from top manufacturers but they where all still a yellow light, I put HIDs in the 45. Does anyone have any advise on how to improve the headlights on the Rover 45, I have tried many different standard bulbs and hid which are too bright for oncoming traffic and have a hopeless beam pattern in my experience and where im at now i think higher wattage bulbs are the only option, 100 watt ...

Perkins diesel R45?
Just seen (09/01/13) a Rover 45 diesel on auto trader that says it has a Perkins diesel engine, looks just like an L series to me? is this a mistake on their part or did the R45 come with this engine on some models?

The bar i was working on is inside the car above the break pedal, realisticly with out bieng able to undo the odd shaped lock nut (servo end of link bar) the only real way of doing this is to remove the master cylinder in the hope that the servo can then be removed without undoing the brake pipes an...

The brakes are free as you might expect with them bieng new. The calipers move freely both sides. & the pistons retract ok with a g clamp So I think it may well be the length of that bar that needs adjusting. But its very hard to get too. I managed to undo what could be a locking nut@ the pedal ...
